I did. I was about to order it along with a turbo upgrade before I sold the car. heh heh. Long story short, the car was giving me consistent issues (lemon i guess). The engine ran perfect, it was the drivetrain giving me issues that no one else was having with a similar setup to me.
I have a C5 Z06 now, lol.

yep, this was one of my first times at the track with this car and still playing around with the settings. I’ve since improved greatly and have run low 13’s like you predicted. I have a couple 13.5’s on video.
The car launched poorly. You can see the hesitation about 2 seconds into his run. Car can easily do low 13s with a professional driver in the car’s “Competition Mode” setting.
This was my first time at the track with the car, as well as crappy temps…it was in february. My best time when I was stock was 14.0xx. Some other better drivers have gotten 13.8 stock. My current best right now is my 13.5 with my mods, but with no launch. With launch and better tires this car WILL break 12’s, but I don’t feel like spending money to get kicked out after 1 run…

This vid is of a Sky Redline running a 14.6, not a regular sky. I would’ve expected high 13s out of this car

Does that car normally run mid-high 14s? I have a 2007 Civic Si that I’ve been thinking about trading in for a Sky redline recently, but not if they run similiar times :O I’ve seen stock SI’s run faster than 14.6

The dealer let me take one out, and its completely awesome if you can fit in it. I was a bit snug being 6′4″ 235, but if you are 6′ 210 or less, you would be fine.
So that Saleen Mustang ran a 14 flat at like 108..? That’s pathetic..

eee okay… my dad had a sky and he change it for a mustang because the mustang was faster….???
flirt with the 12’s my ass, I just read the road and track and it was rated at 13.8 on the track. Plus, my ion redline was keeping up with one from a roll, and all I have is intake and exhaust.
but for me the redline is waaay more beautiful than the mustang, but its a shame that the redline doesnt have a Nav. system
THAT mustang, no. A stock redline can’t beat a saleen mustang. If you’re talking about Mustang GT vs. Redline. It’s close, almost a driver’s race, but technically with the same driver the Mustang should edge out the redline in the 1/4, but lose in the 0-60.
And wind noise, no I don’t. Granted, it’s a convertible, it’s not as quiet as a hard top, but no, no real bad wind noise
but, do you think the sky can beat the mustang? i really like the sky and i am planning to buy the redline. by the way… does the sky makes wind noise when you have the top up?
no i didn’t. That was a Saleen Mustang with a bad driver as well. He ran a 14.0, those things flirt with the 12’s. Granted, this video was back when i was a horrible driver too, and i’ve since gotten into the 13’s.

OMFG I’ve seen these run 13.8’s stock so it’s all driver. First time down the track in my car I got a 15.1. By the end of the day I was hitting 14.2’s. The car is capable and the engine has a lot left in her (built internals good to over 400 hp). Do a turbo swap (less than $2000) and you have a 12 sec daily driver.
im not trying to be a hater but to be turbocharged pushing 260hp 14.6 is pretty slow my chrysler crossfire ran the same thing and it only comes with 215 stock, and they pretty much weight the same ****!
