Saturn Sky Redline w/ 3″ Magnaflow Exhaust
talkaboutblue asked:
Just got the 3" Magnaflow Cat Back exhaust installed. Noticed more horsepower like Night and Day. Sounds AWESOME.

the s2000 isucks. its slow and the breaks are horrible. they fade like no other the cobalt ss/tc out performs it. but it does look cool
The sky is only a convertible, but its twin the Solstice, is available in a removable targa top that you can use a hard or a soft top on.
Btw, I love saturns, and **** to see what’s going on with them now. The Aura and Astra are sexy, and so is the sky.
I wish GM would keep them instead of Buick.
Hm I was under the impression it was only convertible. But yes I do agree for safety reasons, that too is why I go for the hard tops as well. This is definitely a car worth it considering the luxury style yet cheap. My SC2 back in the day was also cheap and it’s still a great car to this day 10 years later. Saturn can be very dependable.
Don’t be an idiot. I think the S2000 is a great car. I prefer imports. However, it just happens that I like the sky just as much. It’s a beautiful design with a good chassis and a great engine. What’s not to like?
I am guessing here but it is not a stretch, do you work for GM in any capacity? I think so! Either that or you are too biased twrds them that you fail to notice the majority of other vehicles around u. They are IMPORTS! When critiquing another mans vehicle, facts are neccesary. I am willing to $ you have never test driven a Miata/Boxter or s2000.
If you have you are fooling urself into thinking you have a superior car. Open up a car mag and read a professionals opinion because urs dsnt count!!!
You have to pretty much pull over in ANY convertible. Yeah, some will let you put them up at slow speeds, but you aren’t going 20mph on the highway while it’s going up. You will pull over anyway.
You can put this thing up about as fast as any automatic top.
They have a hard top version of this car. It’s the solstice gxp coupe. Btw, I thought you were complaining about the fact that it’s manual top.
I prefer hard tops as well for the safety.
This car is NOT seasonal as you can already tell by the video. That much I can agree with Abient on. If it snows, the first thing people should consider is, “Hey I should put up the top before I goto work.”
How does that make me lazy when I prefer hard tops? That is the dumbest assumption I’ve ever heard. It’s a preference of mine, there’s no way you can tell me I’m wrong. You’re just some judgemental ***** who can’t even count right. So lets put this into perspective, you’re rolling down the road at, lets say anyways, eighty miles an hour for an hour drive and it starts to rain… this is a 5-second job?
It’s more conventional to buy a car for the same price. Car is fine but this is a draw back.
The problem also with the soft top is it’s not automatic, you have to pull over when it rains to set it up. That’s hardly conventional considering other convertibles allow automatic, when you’re on the free way there’s no need to go from one end of the road to the other and pull over to set it up.
Getting rid of the cat is stupid. It’s there for a reason. The car will fail emissions and pollute a lot.
That’s funny, because the S2000 is being discontinued as we speak. They never sold that well over the years.
Also, how is it a knockoff of the Honda? Is nobody else allowed to make rwd roadsters anymore?? Also, a direct injection turbo motor is pretty cutting edge technology, even if it doesn’t rev to 9000rpm.
Idiot.
If an easy 5-second top removal is a deal breaker, then you are the laziest **** in the world.
It’s a fucking car. It’s not meant to sit in a garage half of the year. Get some snow tires and drive it in the snow.
My GF’s 2006 Mustang is rock solid in the snow with proper tires on. You can slam on the brakes pretty hard and it won’t lock up.
Just because something is rwd or a convertible doesn’t mean it’s useless in the winter time…
A Honda S2000 is as fast (0-60 in 5.4sec) WITHOUT a turbo, GM ***** dick, no wonder they are discontinued
thats cool, im looking around trying to find the right Sky for me at a good price
This is not the kind of car you drive in the winter. It should be kept in the garage, you *******!
Sounds like a dirtbike
thats good for its rev it when its cold
did you ever get this thing on the dyno? Gonna get one an am curious about your HP gains.
sounds like a frog farting
| remember though its coming from the turbo

haha! you should go buy a Jeep Wrangler soft top and then you can complain.
the top is simple to put in the trunk. push a button, undo ONE latch and put into trunk, that’s it.
and the buttresses you have to snap into the trunk making the top look that much better, really fills out the streamline of the car.
sounds like a CRX
the tips arent aligned
